Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join

If you choose to enable this setting in your account, meetings secured with a passcode will generate a URL with the passcode embedded. Participants can click your invite link and eliminate the need to manually enter your meeting passcode.

Note: This setting is less secure and will limit your ability to send the passcode in a separate communication.

To enable this in your account,

   1. Sign into your UNM Zoom account using the UNM Zoom portal.

   2. Click Settings > Meeting.

   3. Under Security, scroll to “Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join.”

   4. Click the toggle to enable the setting.

Once enabled, find or schedule a new meeting with a passcode and check the meeting invitation URL. You should see a more complex URL for your meeting invite link.
